About Pat's Fund
Pat’s Fund is a non-profit 501(c) 3 Corporation. All contributions are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
Pat’s Fund was founded in December, 1999 following the death of Pat Barnes from Idiopathic Thrombocytopenia Purpura (ITP), an autoimmune disease affecting blood platelets.
Pat's Fund gives 100% of its profits Benaroya Research Institute (BRI) at Virginia Mason in Seattle, Washington. BRI is dedicated to discovering the causes and cures of immune system mediated diseases including a wide range of autoimmune diseases.
